Haniyeh: Start new intifada over national heritage sites
Hamas prime minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh has called on the Palestinians Tuesday to start a new intifada in protest of the addition of the cave of Patriarchs and Rachel's Tomb to Israel's list of national heritage sites.
"This step dismisses anyone who wants to remain in the framework of a political process," Haniyeh said and added that any measure taken up by Israel was not binding for the Palestinians. (Ali Waked)
