Habayit Hayehudi chairman Minister Daniel Hershkowitz said Tuesday that "the Cave of Patriarchs and Rahcel's Tomb are part of the Jewish heritage and that's an historic fact contested by no one."
Commenting on remarks made by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas who said that the decision to include the two sites within the list of national heritage sites may ignite a religious war, Hershkowitz said that Abbas "should educate his own people and not the Jewish people." (Roni Sofer)
