Yesha chairman: Abbas trying to deny all of Jewish history
Yesha Council Chairman Danny Dayan said, "Abu Mazen (Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas), who denied the Holocaust in his doctoral dissertation, is move beyond now and trying to deny Jewish history in its entirety."
After Abbas condemned Israel's decision to include Rachel's Tomb and the Cave of the Patriarchs in the list of its national heritage sites, Dayan said, "He is trying to deny the existence of the Jewish people. What can be done when the patriarchs and matriarchs were buried in the Cave of the Patriarchs and David chose Hebron as his capital, they didn't ask Abbas' permission first." (Efrat Weiss)
