Arab sources: Syria arrested Mabhouh's aide, Muhammad Nasser
A diplomatic Arab source says the Syrian authorities recently arrested one of Mahmoud al-Manbhouh's associates, Muhammas Nasser, who was aware of all the movements and flights of the senior Hamas member assassinated in Dubai.
According to the source, the Dubai police asked the Syrians to hand in for questioning several Hamas men, including Nasser. According to the reports, Nasser was one of the people who took part in the abduction and killing of two Israeli soldiers in the first intifada. (Roee Nahmias)
