Herzog opposes road reform, says: I prefer to give to people

Welfare Minister Isaac Herzog (Labor) attacked the road and railways reform plan proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying, "If what the finance minister is saying is true, the state budget is liable to be overwhelmed by this plan. Though the roads and railways are important, I am in favor of giving more to people and not to concrete and cement."
Many other ministers support Herzog's reservations regarding the plan, and expressed their wish to make themselves heard. (Roni Sofer)
