First since freeze: Construction company sues State
None
The construction company, Naot Hapisga, which works in Modiin Illit, filed a claim for NIS 171 million (about $45,300) against the State as compensation for damages it incurred when it froze building in the city as part of a broad moratorium on construction in West Bank settlements. The letter of claim says that the company acquired land in the city on which it planned to build a neighborhood.
This is the first court case filed against the State since the inception of the construction freeze. (Tani Goldstein)
