US demands Syria distance itself from Iran
The US asked that Syria distance itself from Iran, claiming that the tight relations between the two countries causes problems in the entire region.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Syria must stop intervening in Lebanon's affairs, stop providing weapons to Hezbollah, and promote renewed peace talks with Israel. (AFP)
