Clinton cites progress in Iran sanctions effort
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said that US diplomacy has moved China closer to the American view that Iran's continuing refusal to come clean on its nuclear program demands tough new UN sanctions.
"We hope that the next 30 to 60 days will see a sanctions resolution emerge in New York," she said, referring to UN headquarters, where she said US diplomats are "hammering out" sanctions language. (AP)
