Peres: Iranian armament doesn't frighten Israel
President Shimon Peres said, "Peace with Syria could have been made 30 years ago, as was made with Egypt. We didn't postpone it, Syria did."
"Syria believed back then that time was on its side, but time doesn't stand still and is not necessarily one-sided," Peres said at a ceremony commemorating the battle of Tel-Hai. He added that "Tehran's armament will not determine the fate of the region and will not frighten Israel. (Hagai Einav)
