Aharonovitch: I'll continue to support heritage site decision

Minister of Internal Security Yitzhak Aharonovitch (Yisrael Beitenu) met with Arabic media channels in the first meeting of its kind. The minister spoke of the problem of arms among Israeli Arabs and recruitment of police officers in the Arab sector.
He also referred to Hamas' threats of a third intifada in response to the government's decision to include the Cave of the Patriarchs and Rachel's Tomb on the national heritage site list. "We do not fear anything," he said. "Whoever threatens us can continue to do so. I was party to the decision, I support it and will continue to support it." (Shmulik Grossman)
