Palestinian PM to visit Hebron as tensions soar

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad announced he would arrive in Hebron on Friday afternoon for fear of an escalation in the clashes in the West Bank city following Israel's decision to include the Cave of the Patriarchs and Rachel's Tomb in its list of national heritage sites.
Palestinian organizations have declared a day of popular protest in the territories. Demonstrations are expected to begin at the conclusion of the Friday prayer services. (Ali Waked)
