Man arrested on suspicion of sending toy gun to minister

A 40-year-old Jerusalem resident was arrested in suspicion of sending a toy gun and threatening letter to Minister Benny Begin. The man arrived at the police station to file a complaint about stolen money, and an officer noticed that his handwriting was similar to that appearing in the letter.

The man admitted to sending the letter. The police are expected to ask the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court to extend his remand. (Efrat Weiss)
