Barak says appreciates US efforts on Iran

Defense Minister Ehud Barak expressed his appreciation for US efforts in the Iranian nuclear issue during a meeting Friday in Washington with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"We greatly appreciate the efforts of President (Barack) Obama and the secretary of state to ensure that sanctions against Iran are effective, regardless of their type," said Barak. He also called "not lose sight of the possibility that these efforts do not bring Iran to accept international rules". (AFP)
