Sinai Bedouin protest, demand release of kin

Dozens of Bedouin women protested at an Egyptian security office on Saturday, demanding the release of relatives they said were being held without trial after bomb attacks in the Sinai peninsula from 2004 to 2006.

Between 40 and 50 women accompanied by their children gathered at the district office for North Sinai security, calling for their relatives to be released or given a fair trial, one of the protesters told Reuters. (Reuters)
