Olmert undergoes hernia operation

Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert underwent a hernia operation over the weekend under full anesthesia.

The surgery is not related to his prostate cancer condition or to prior operations he underwent. The former prime minister was released from hospital several hours after the surgery and was instructed to rest in the coming days. (Attila Somfalvi)
