11% increase in arrivals, departures at Ben-Gurion airport
An increase of 20% in the number of passengers that entered Israel through Ben-Gurion airport has been recorded during February, compared with last year, according to Israel Airport Authority. An 11% increase was also recorded in the number of arrivals and departures in the airport.
In addition, IAA said that during February 2010, there was a 32% increase in the number of passengers on domestic flights – 40,936 passenger this year compared with 30,809 during 2009. (Yoav Zitun)
