EU foreign affairs chief: National heritage plan harmful to peace process
European Union's Foreign Affairs Chief Catherine Ashton said she views the Israeli cabinet's decision to include the holy sites in Hebron and Bethlehem in the list of national heritage sites as harmful to the attempts to renew the political peace process.
In a statement issued on her behalf, it said that the EU considers these sites holy to all three religions. (Ynet)
