EU to fund heart surgery for 150 Palestinian children

The European Union will fund life-saving heart surgery costing around 400,000 euro for 150 Palestinian children, according to the EU envoy to Israel. The surgery will be performed at the Edith Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, in the framework of the "Save a Child's Heart" project. The EU has also budgeted for training eight Palestinian doctors.
