A Palestinian caught with a knife at Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem said he planned to carry out a stabbing attack.
According to Palestinian witnesses, he was badly beaten by Border Guard officers, claims which were denied by the Border Guard. (Efrat Weiss and Ali Waked)
