Five killed in bombings in northeast Iraqi city

Suicide bombers attacked two police stations and a hospital in a city northeast of Baghdad on Wednesday, killing at least five people and wounding 20 in a tense run-up to a parliamentary election, police said.

 

One attacker drove an explosives-packed car at the headquarters of a police rapid reaction force in Baquba, 65 km northeast of the capital Baghdad. (Reuters)
