US ambassador: No change on Iran sanctions
US Ambassador to Israel James B. Cunningham said Washington and Jerusalem "see eye to eye" on the issue of new sanctions on Iran, and that the US was not backing down from "crippling sanctions".
Cunningham told Ynet that more time was needed to formulate an international agreement on the sanctions, but that there was "enough time" to do so. Earlier Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said around two months would be required to bring the issue to a vote by the UN Security Council. (Tani Goldstein)
