Australian delegation probing fake passports hit cyclist in Tel Aviv
Australian police agents that arrived in Israel to probe the usage of forged Australian passports in the assassination of senior Hamas figure Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai were involved in a traffic accident in Tel Aviv, according to Australian network ABC.
According to the report, upon leaving the Australian embassy in Tel Aviv, the vehicle in which the police officers were traveling hit a cyclist and did not stop to assist her. The woman was not injured, but demanded an apology from the embassy as well as a new bicycle wheel. The Australian embassy said it was looking into the incident. (Ynet)
