UK to announce legislation amendment on arrest warrants
British Ambassador to Israel Tom Phillips informed Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni Thursday of his government's intention to announce a legislation amendment which will prevent the issuing of arrest warrants against Israeli senior officials in the UK.
Livni thanked the ambassador and the British government and said the change was a step in the right direction. "The British legal system has been abused by cynics thus harming the entire Kingdom," she said. (Roni Sofer)
