Aharonovitch on FM affair: I will not cooperate with slander attempt
In response to Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's press conference earlier Thursday, Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch (Yisrael Beitenu) said he does not get involved in investigations against public figures.
"I will not cooperate with any attempt to slander any Israeli citizen, regardless of his role or public status," he said. "I leave the investigations to those in the police who are authorized to do so, and I am certain they'll do their work professionally and faithfully." (Attila Somfalvi)
