Dozens of Arab rioters flee to al-Aqsa Mosque; police stay out
A few dozen young Arab rioters fled to the al-Aqsa Mosque after throwing stones at the police on the Temple Mount. The police did not enter the mosque. A few older worshippers remain on the Mount and are trying to calm the situation.
Three police officers were lightly wounded by stones and were evacuated to Hadassah Hospital at Mount Scopus for medical attention. Other officers sustained light injuries and were treated on the spot. (Efrat Weiss)
