Azerbaijan: US 'genocide' vote hurts stability

Turkey's oil-producing ally Azerbaijan said on Friday a US house panel resolution on the 1915 killing of Armenians damaged regional stability and could wipe out efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"The adoption of the resolution ... could reduce to zero all previous efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh problem," the Azeri parliamrnt said in a statement. The vote, it added, "damages efforts to restore peace and stability in the region." (Reuters)
