Syria says Israel desecrating Arab holy sites

The Syrian Foreign Ministry released a statement condemning the "desecration of Arab holy sires and the provocation against the sentiments of millions of Muslims" following Friday's clashes on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

"The events prove once again that Israel is not serious about the negotiations with the Palestinians," the statement said. (Ynet)
