White House official: Decision on 9/11 suspects weeks away

A White House decision is still weeks away on whether to prosecute accused September 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other suspects in a military or civilian trial, a White House official said on Friday.

"The White House is continuing to review what the available options are that would bring the 9/11 detainees to justice. No decision has been made, and we do not expect a decision for weeks as the review process is ongoing," the official said. (Reuters)
