Arkia appeals to High Court against El Al flights to Eliat
Arkia airlines appealed to the High Court against the Transportation Ministry's decision to allow El Al airline to operate flight to Eilat. The appeal claimed that the decision was politically based, and that despite his promises, Transpiration Minister Yisrael Katz secured El Al's monopoly over international flights while not allowing Arkia an equal opportunity to compete.
