Council head says won't allow Spencer Tunick nude photo installation
Dov Litvinoff, head of the Tamar Regional Council, which is next to the Dead Sea, announced that he is opposed to mass nude installation of photographer Spencer Tunick, who arrives in Israel on April 18.
Litvinoff said that he will not allow the installation to be held, claiming that it offends the Israeli public's sensitivities, particularly the haredi and Muslim publics that regularly visit the area. Tunick plans on photographing sites at the Dead Sea, as well as Tel Aviv Port. (Ilana Curiel)
