Coalition elements estimate conversion bill to be voted on next week
Coalition elements estimated Monday that the conversion bill will be brought to a vote on first reading in the Knesset plenum next week. It was also noted that the civil marriage bill will be ready for second and third readings on Tuesday.
A meeting is scheduled to take place Monday night at Cabinet Secretary Zvi Hauser's office in an effort to reach an agreement between the bills' imitators and the opposing elements from the haredi parties. (Attila Somfalvi)
