Fayyad: PA revenues grew 20% in 2009

The revenues of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank grew by 20% in 2009, surpassing $2 billion for the first time in more than 10 years, Prime Minister Palestinian Salam Fayyad said Monday.

Fayyad told a pres conference in Ramallah that these revenue had never been higher since the start of the second intifada in 2000. (AFP)
