Tibi calls Jews hung by British 'terrorists', ejected from plenum
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed that MK Ahmed Tibi (United Arab List-Ta'al) be removed from the special plenary Knesset session in memory of the 12 Jews hung by the British. Netanyahu paid tribute to "those who gave their lives in the struggle for freedom," and Tibi shouted in response, "They shot at a bus filled with civilians and killed a minister. Were they heroes or terrorists?!"
As he left the plenum, Tibi said, "Each nation has its own truth." (Amnon Meranda)
