MK Ariel to submit petition to Biden calling for Pollard's release

Head of the lobby for Jonathan Pollard MK Uri Ariel initiated a petition in the Knesset to be signed and submitted to US Vice President Joe Biden calling for a pardon for the Israeli agent jailed in the United States.
The petition reads, "treat the sick Pollard with grace and mercy, as a humanitarian gesture to the Jewish people ahead of the Passover holiday – the holiday of freedom." (Amnon Meranda)
