Attorney Yaakov Weinrot, who is mediating between the ultra-Orthodox parties and the Yisrael Beiteinu party currently in a dispute over the conversion bill, formulated a compromise proposal and sent it to the parties involved for review.
A source from the United Torah Judaism Party told Ynet, "There certainly is progress, but talks and efforts are ongoing." The source added that Weinrot's proposal was being "looked into by the rabbis." (Ronen Medzini)
