UN bomb disposal unit to neutralize unexploded ordnance in Gaza
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi permitted a special UN bomb disposal unit to enter the Gaza Strip on Wednesday through the Erez crossing.
The team will spend the next few months neutralizing unexploded ordnance left behind after Operation Cast Lead, which might potentially harm citizens. (Hanan Greenberg)
