MK Barakeh claims falsely accused of assaulting officers

Hadash Chairman MK Mohammad Barakeh, whose trial on assault of police officers is scheduled to commence Wednesday in Tel Aviv, told Ynet that the allegations against him were false accusations.
"The fact that they compiled four separate incidents into the indictment gives away the intent," he said. "We shall refute the charges one by one during the trial," he added. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
