France condemns east Jerusalem construction permit
France denounced the Interior Ministry's decision to approve the construction of 1,600 housing units in east Jerusalem deeming it "illegal" according to international law.
A statement issued by the French Foreign Ministry noted that the decision was made at an inappropriate time in light of the resumption of peace talks. (AFP)
