Son of former MK placed under house arrest

The Akko Magistrates' Court has ordered that Ganem Zkoor, son of former MK Abas Zkoor (United Arab List-Ta'al), be placed under house arrest until the end of the proceedings against him. He is being charged with assaulting a police officer.
The indictment says 21-year old Zkoor cursed at the officer while she wrote him a traffic report for driving without a seatbelt. (Ahiya Raved)
