Minister Ya'alon: Israel reaching out for peace
Minister for Strategic Affairs Moshe Ya'alon said that as long as the Palestinians continued to incite against Israel's existence the state would have to keep fighting for its independence.
"We can talk about peace to no end on the political level, about talks and even about agreements… but while we continue to reach out for peace our neighbors keep aiming for the ultimate goal of their struggle – not a state beside Israel but a state under Israel," Ya'alon said at a commemoration ceremony in Ashkelon.
