Armed Israeli tour guide detained near Bethlehem
A resident of central Israel was detained by Palestinian security forces near Bethlehem, carrying a handgun and accompanied by three Jewish Americans.
He was taken to the Civil Administration, and identified himself as a tour guide who unwittingly entered the Palestinian territories with his group. He was returned to Israel unharmed. (Shmulik Hadad)
