Barak's meeting with Biden commences in Tel Aviv's Kirya base
The meeting between Defense Minister Ehud Barak and US Vice President Joe Biden has commenced in Tel Aviv's Kirya military base after the two took a helicopter tour of Israel's skies.
Barak's entourage said that the a significant effort was put forth to overcome the crisis caused by construction in east Jerusalem and added that Biden's speech was warm and favorable, as was the atmosphere at the beginning of the meeting between the two statesmen. (Roni Sofer)
