Olmert's defense: Deputy district attorney lost laptop with case details
None
The attorney to former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert claimed during proceedings at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court that the deputy district attorney had lost a laptop in the US containing all the details of the investigations against Olmert.
One of Olmert's attorneys, Eli Zohar, asked one of the police witnesses whether this was true, and the witness said he had heard it was. Jerusalem's district attorney said in response that it wasn't relevant to the case, but Olmert's legal counsel said they should have been informed of the loss nonetheless. (Attila Somfalvi)
