Uzi Arad discusses Shalit issue with Egyptian officials
The prime minister's advisor on national security Uzi Arad visited Cairo on Thursday, Palestinian daily al-Quds reported on Friday.
According to the report, during his short visit Arad met with a number of Egyptian officials and discussed with them a number of issues, including the possibility of renewing the Egyptian efforts to close a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas to secure the release of Gilad Shalit. (Roee Nahmias)
