NATO head: We must prepare for nuke threat from non-state elements
NATO Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the North Atlantic Alliance must develop an efficient missile defense system and consider the possibility of a nuclear threat from elements that are not states.
Speaking at an international conference in Warsaw, Rasmussen said that in the future, NATO will probably be facing a larger number of countries and maybe even non-state players, who are armed with long-range missiles and nuclear capabilities. (AFP)
