Police to restrict entry to Temple Mount on Sunday
Commander of the Jerusalem District Police Aharon Franco said that entrance to Temple Mount on Sunday will be restricted to Muslim worshippers with blue ID card over the age of 50. Women of all ages will also be permitted to enter the complex.
The decision was made following police intelligence received on a group of Arab youths that were planning to enter Temple Mount and cause disturbances. Accordingly, the Jerusalem District Police and Border Guard will deploy in force around the Temple Mount complex and the alleys of Jerusalem's Old City. (Shmulik Grossman)
