Danon agrees to defer Likud Central Committee meeting
MK Danny Danon, who had demanded that the Likud Central Committee meet to discuss the construction freeze, has agreed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request to postpone the meeting, but only on condition that it will be held within 30 days.
"The prime minister is currently struggling for our eternal right to Jerusalem," Danon said. "Therefore I agreed to the postponement, in light of the pressure he is currently under." (Attila Somfalvi)
