MK Ben Ari: PM crushed national backbone, dividing J'lem
Hundreds arrived at the Hurva synagogue's Torah scroll celebration in Jerusalem's Jewish quarter held under heavy security presence.
Knesset Member Michael Ben Ari (National Union) criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for recent tensions with the United States. "Netanyahu who crushed his own national backbone and is leading to the division of Jerusalem should have come here to draw strength from Hurva's restoration and show power instead of compromising Jerusalem's unity," the MK said.
