Airstrike in Yemen, al-Qaeda possible target

A plane raided a site in southern Yemen in what may be a fresh air strike against suspected al Qaeda positions, Al Jazeera reported on Sunday.

The television station quoted residents as saying the site was believed to be a position of the militant group. It gave no further details about the air strike. (Reuters)
