IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi traveled to Turkey on Monday to take part in an international NATO conference, along with military commanders from around the world.
Ashkenazi is to meet with his Turkish counterpart General Ilker Basbug and with Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul. He is scheduled to return to Israel Monday night. (Ynet)
